Welcome to the homepage of the Biological Computation Group at MIT.

Our group is particularly interested in Programmed Mutagenesis -- a replication-dependent in-vitro mutagenic system for DNA that evolves DNA sequences according to programmed rules.

We have also developed BIND, the first thermodynamic simulator of deoxyoligonucleotide hybridization designed specifically with the biological computing in mind, along with a number of other computational software.

We hosted the 5th International Meeting on DNA Based Computers.
